Provide quality customer service, information regarding products, and assistance to inbound and outbound callers while performing collection activities.


  • Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Provide a variety of potential solutions for the caller
  • Handle all customer calls, despite degree of difficulty, in a courteous and business-like manner
  • Resolve customer matters in a manner that is within client and legal guidelines
  • Respond constructively to the frequent monitoring of calls and feedback necessary to ensure performance and compliance
  • Input notations in computer and system as necessary Comply with legal, client, and Company requirements regarding the FDCPA and other applicable laws
  • Meets minimum assigned budget on a monthly basis
  • Makes arrangements with the customer to pay debt in full or set up the best possible arrangements
  • Corrects any deficiencies or oversights as outlined by Manager during telephone monitor, file activity, or QA reviews
  • Handle all customer calls, despite degree of difficulty, in a courteous and business-like manner
  • Cope with high-stress environment caused by speaking with emotional callers
  • Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
  • Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
  • React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers
  • Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management




High School Diploma or GED is required



No experience necessary; prefer 6 months of related experience


Computer Experience:

Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.

  • This position requires an individual to work on a PC and telephone continuously throughout the day
  • Demonstrates high motivation with a good aptitude for collections
