Overview

 

Manage all aspects of human resources functions, plan and implement human resources programs, and ensure efficient operation of the Human Resources (HR) Department.  Manage HR Managers.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage HR Managers/Supervisors
  • Ensure that all human resources processes (including, but not limited to, hiring, promotions, terminations, and compensation processes) comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and Company policies
  • Communicate and implement Company-required initiatives, programs, and policies and procedures
  • Responsible for Affirmative Action training
  • Oversee investigation of employee relations issues and report findings and recommended courses of action to Senior Management
  • Oversee handling of employee complaints regarding discrimination, harassment, and other issues
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of HR Department
  • Responsible for implementing recruiting programs to meet legal requirements and organizational needs
  • Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
  • Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
  • React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers
  • Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
  • Perform additional duties as required by management

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

Employees must have a Bachelors degree or have equivalent experience

 

Experience:

Minimum five years of experience in Human Resources. Proficient in Company policies and procedures. Experience designing, developing and implementing new programs to meet company needs.

 

Computer Experience:

Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.
