  • Overview

    Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. 

    Responsibilities

    • Works with business analysts, database administrators, programmers and other team members to develop technical solutions for complex business problems
    • Authors technical specifications and documentation
    • Assists other programmers with coding solutions, techniques and questions
    • Interact with management and users to develop innovative solutions to facilitate business objectives
    • Prepare management status reporting in a timely manner
    • Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
    • React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
    • Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
    • Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworker
    • Perform additional duties as required by management

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or Management Information is preferred. Experience and/or certifications may be substituted for degree.

     

    Experience:

    • Three to five years programming and design experience.

    • Knowledge of .Net Framework and C# required.

    Computer Experience:

    Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.

    • Detailed analytical and process design abilities
    • Good verbal and written communications with management and peers
    • Ability to develop technical project estimates
    • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
    • Ability to work well under pressure situations with high-stress and a changing environment
