Overview

Provides support to the Human Resources Manager, Supervisor, Generalist, and overall HR responsibilities for the office.

Responsibilities

  • Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, tax data, attendance, termination date and reason.
  • Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide other pertinent information with regards to employee personnel files.
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
  • Compiles data from personnel information to authorized persons.
  • Compiles data from personnel information for reports.
  • Schedules, tests and scores applicants.
  •  Prepares all paperwork for new hire employee- E100, I9, federal and state tax forms, E-Verify, BINX.
  • Answer basic inquiries from employees to refer the employee on to HR Manager or HR Supervisor for further assistance.
  • Answer telephones within HR Office.
  • Other HR support type duties such as assisting Recruiter and Human Resource Generalist with tasks such as: Filing, processing New-Hire paperwork, processing Applicants, sending correspondence to applicants and other duties as assigned
  • Provides back up to the Receptionist which includes covering the front desk and lobby area as needed.  Greeting applicants and visitors promptly, observing all security requirements in verifying identity and determining entry to the site
  • Other HR and support type duties as assigned by the HR Supervisor, Collection Manager and Site Director
  • Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
  • Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
  • React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers
  • Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
  • Perform additional duties as required by management from time to time

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED. Minimum six months HR experience.
