Responsible for entering payroll data and transmitting information to corporate office.




  • Input vacation and leave time taken for all employees
  • Verify and proofread timecards for accuracy
  • Batch and enter payroll information on hours worked to include check adjustments and error corrections
  • Prepare and transmit timecard information to corporate office
  • Research payroll problems and resolve issues
  • Request checks for terminated employees and mail payroll cards in accordance with state laws and guidelines
  • Assist in preparation and processing of new-hire paperwork
  • Perform office work such as making copies, scanning, faxing, and filing
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of employee personnel files
  • Assist with new-hire orientation
  • Ensure appropriate forms are sent to corporate office within specified deadlines
  • Compile reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and as-needed basis
  • Complete employment verification forms as needed
  • Communicate payroll information and updates to employees through memos, email, and other methods
  • Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements
  • Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals
  • React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers
  • Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
  • Perform additional duties as required by management






High School Diploma or GED is required



No experience necessary; prefer administrative experience


Computer Experience:

Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.
